Make the refried beans by sauteing onions, jalapeno, garlic, black beans, and mashing them until combined.

Make masa harina for tamales by combining fat, baking powder, masa harina, and salt.

Spread the masa onto your corn husk, add filling in the center, cheese, and fold.
