- lean ground beef - large egg - minced garlic - cooked white rice - chopped cilantro - ground cumin - coarse sea salt - black pepper For the soup broth - olive oil - celery stalks, sliced - large carrots, peeled and diced - medium onion, chopped - chicken broth

In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the meatballs and mix together with your hands until just combined- try not to overwork the meat too much, just until you feel like all the ingredients have been evenly dispersed.
