This Watermelon Margarita is made with only 3 ingredients and can be served frozen or on the rocks. Naturally sweetened, this cocktail is a summer favorite!
Run a lime wedge around the rim of two glasses. Dip the edges of the glasses in salt and tajin or chili powder.
Add watermelon, tequila, and lime juice to a blender. Blend until smooth.
Fill glasses with ice and pour watermelon margarita mixture over ice. Garnish with lime wedges and serve immediately.
Frozen Watermelon Margaritas
Cut the watermelon into cubes and then place them in a single layer onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer for 6 hours or over overnight. Transfer frozen watermelon to a large freezer bag for easy storage until ready to use.

You can use gold or silver tequila. I personally prefer the taste of gold or anejo tequila in this recipe because it compliments the refreshing watermelon very well, but silver or blanco tequila also works!
