This Month’s Cooking Challenge Recipe Is…

Mexican picadillo recipe with ground beef, potatoes, and carrots in a skillet.

Mexican Picadillo

This Mexican picadillo recipe is the kind my family makes from scratch: ground beef and potatoes simmered in a blended fresh tomato sauce with carrots, peas, and jalapeño. It comes together in about 45 minutes, and it’s so good in tacos, gorditas, or just over rice and beans.

How to Join

  1. Cook the assigned recipe for the month.
  2. Take a photo of the recipe and email it to Isabel Eats. A simple photo that you take with your phone is perfect. Email it to challenge@isabeleats.com.

That’s it! While not required, your feedback is very important to us and we encourage you to please leave a star and written review on the recipe page.

Important Dates & Prizes

Entries for the month’s cooking challenge must be submitted by 11:59pm CST on the last day of the month to be entered to win 1 $100 Amazon gift card!

The winners of the challenge and prize will be notified via email within 1 week of the end of the challenge.

About the Cooking Challenge

The Isabel Eats Cooking Challenge is a monthly cooking club aimed to help motivate and inspire you to get in the kitchen.

My goal is to bring together our virtual community and celebrate our love of delicious Mexican food.

Each month, I’ll pick a recipe for the Isabel Eats community to make. Then all you have to do is snap a photo of the dish, and email it to me for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card! To help our team develop the best recipes, we appreciate your feedback and ask that you leave a comment and star rating on the recipe, but its not required.
