About Isabel Eats
Isabel Eats is a Mexican recipe website started by Isabel Orozco-Moore in 2015 as a way to document her familyโs recipes and connect to her Mexican heritage.
Today, Isabel Eats reaches millions of people every month across the website and social media. The site has hundreds of Mexican, Tex-Mex, and Mexican-inspired recipes for home cooks, all tested and written so you can make them in your own kitchen.
Whether youโre brand new to Mexican food or grew up on it, we hope you find something you love.
What Youโll Find On Isabel Eats
Many of the recipes come straight from Isabelโs family, whose roots are in Zacatecas, Mexico. Others are Tex-Mex favorites or fun twists on the flavors she grew up with as a first-generation Mexican American.
Youโll find everyday dinners, bigger weekend projects like tamales and birria, drinks, desserts, and guides to ingredients like dried chiles to make the Mexican aisle at the store a lot less confusing.
