November Cooking Challenge Recap
Novemberโs cooking challenge featured jalapeรฑo cornbread and they all looked delicious! Thank you to all who participated.
Novemberโs winner was Nica, and she was notified via email and has been sent her prize. Congratulations, Nica!
I haven’t seen a pozole look like the one I made. I must have used a little too much cilantro because the blender just got ahold of it and really pureed it into a brilliant green. Tasted well with a
somewhat creamy finish.

Good food warms the soul. Jalapenos were not hot. I’m getting used to this.
This pozole was sooo good! I was a little intimidated using tomatillos for the first time, but it was so easy.
This pozole recipe was so easy to make and delicious. I used frozen tomatillos and jalapeรฑos from my garden and it still tasted great. Will make it again!
The chicken pozole verde had just enough spice that everyone loved it.
I made the pozole yesterday, absolutely delicious. I did leave the cilantro out of the broth for my sis, and I roasted vegetables instead of simmering in the broth. Rave reviews from family who don’t eat much Mexican food. I also made tortillas. Thanks!!
This was incredible easy to make and was very good! Itโs definitely going into my dinner rotation.
This soup is amazing and we make up a huge and freeze it to always have it on hand. Great on a cold winters day or when you just want that little something special!!
